Privacy Policy

Last updated November 1, 2026

This policy explains what Dispatcher Prep ("we") collects when you use Dispatcher Prep, why, and the choices you have. Dispatcher Prep is built for adults preparing for dispatcher hiring in the United States.

Your Privacy Choices

Use these controls to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal automatically: if your browser sends it, tags stay off, even if you press Allow. Your choice is saved in this browser, so repeat it on other browsers and devices.

What we collect

You can practice without an account, in which case your sessions stay in your browser until you choose to import them into an account.

What we never put in analytics

Analytics and advertising events never include your typed answers, notes, passwords or security tokens. We do not send your email address to these tags from the browser.

How we use information

We use it to provide and secure your account, sync your practice, process purchases, send account and service emails, provide support, understand which pages and exercises work, measure our advertising, and meet legal duties. We do not train AI models on your practice responses.

Service providers and partners

We do not sell your information for money. Using advertising cookies may count as "selling" or "sharing" under some state laws, which is why the opt-out above exists. Categories disclosed for this purpose are identifiers and internet activity. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect people or our rights, or as part of a business transfer.

Cookies and similar technology

We use a session cookie that is required to keep you logged in. Your browser's local storage holds practice data, preferences and campaign information for up to 90 days. Analytics and advertising tags, when enabled, set their own cookies. Fonts and audio are served from our own site.

How long we keep information

We keep account and practice data while your account is active, and delete it after you delete your account, apart from backups, which age out, and records we must keep. We keep purchase records as long as tax and accounting rules require. Security logs are kept for a limited time.

Your rights

You can export or delete your practice history in the app's Settings, and you can delete your account. Depending on where you live, including California under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA and other states with similar laws, you may have the right to know what we hold, to access or receive a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, and to limit certain uses. You will not be treated differently for using these rights.

To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity first. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to that decision.

Security

We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords and access limits. No online service can be perfectly secure, so use a unique password and tell us if you suspect a problem.

Children and minors

Dispatcher Prep is for people 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child gave us information, contact us and we will delete it.

United States only

The service is designed for and operated for users in the United States.

Changes and contact

We will post changes here and update the date above, and tell you directly about significant ones. Questions: [email protected].
